A GOAL in each half was enough to Harriers pick up a routine win at Aggborough as they downed AFC Telford United 2-0.
Andre Brown side-footed his team in front before the break, before Harriers had two huge appeals for a penalty waved away either side of the interval.
Wright’s goal, following up on a save, put the game to bed against a Bucks side who struck the bar late on but, otherwise, never really threatened.
The hosts dominated then first half, picking their moments to attack against a United defence more concerned with leaving their mark on the opposition.
Pearson nodded a ball over the top early on, before Ngwatala danced his way to two chances as he drove forward, each forcing Jas Singh into a strong save.
The breakthrough came six before the break as the reds got their noses in front; Ngwatala again involved as he picked up on Taylor’s pass to cross for Brown who calmly tucked the ball away.
The first of two cast-iron penalty calls came on the stroke of half-time when Peason was clipped in the area, but Harriers kept up the chances the other side of the break as Austin struck a volley wide on 52.
A brief flurry of chances finally saw United get into the game as Dinanga struck wide and Marsden forced Hall into a low save around the hour, before Harriers were again appealing for a spot-kick when Truslove was crudely halted in the box.
It mattered not in then end – 73 minutes on the clock when the midfielder charged forward and struck at goal; Singh parrying the ball into the path of Wright who reacted quickest to finish.
Jordan Murphy had Telford’s clearest chance straight after when he shot straight at Hall when through, shortly before Lussey hit the bar from distance.

Leonard 65 Cowans 90 Dinanga 74HARRIERS welcome AFC Telford United to Aggborough on New Year's Day as they renew the festive derby action against the Bucks.
The two teams battled out a goalless draw in the return game on Boxing Day.
Now, they meet again in Worcestershire as they both bid to kick off 2018 with a performance and three important league points.
Rob Edwards' side have been improving their form in recent weeks, while the hosts will be keen to keep up a reasonable run of form on their own turf.
It ought to make for another entertaining afternoon, according to Harries man Sam Austin who spoke to our YouTube channel to preview the game.
Looking ahead, he said: "Playing them again after just a few days is great.
"You know what to expect more than you would if you were playing them further along in the season with a different signings.
"It will be good to get back to Aggborough and, hopefully, we can get the win.
"It's great for all the players involved and just adds that bit of spice.
"It was great to see so many of our fans at Telford - it really helped us, especially playing towards them in the second half.
"It have us that little bit of a buzz and we want the same again on New Year's Day."

Harriers will need to run the rule over both Joe Ironside and Declan Weeks going into this game.
Weeks suffered a knee injury in the wake of the Nuneaton Town game after the challenge that saw the Boro skipper dismissed.
Ironside, meanwhile, suffered painful ankle injury in the Boxing Day fixture and needed to be withdrawn at half time.
While it is hoped that neither injury is a considerably long-term concern, it is no guarantee that their pair will feature - while Tyrone Williams will also be hopeful of consideration on Tuesday after being rested last week as a precaution after also taking a knock against Nuneaton.
Kennedy Digie is unavailable to Harriers for the next month after he commenced a one-month loan spell with Dino Maamria's men.
Kick-off at Aggborough on New Year's Day is at 3:00pm.
