A PROFESSIONAL performance from Harriers saw them pick up an impressive and disciplined 4-0 win over North Ferriby United at Aggborough.
Skipper Ryan Croasdale grabbed two more goals while Joe Ironside and Elton Ngwatala were also on target – all in the first half.
Harriers saw out the game resolutely in the second half to pick up a clean sheet to boot.
If it was a job that looked simple enough now, that’s only because of the work done inside that first 45 minutes; Ironside’s opener coming with just seven minutes gone as he side-footed home Ngwatala’s cross.
Croasdale made it two as he rounded the goalkeeper to latch on to Ngwatala’s pass and finish into an empty net on 16 minutes, before provider turned scorer and the Frenchman drilled home a finish from a tight angle.
Andre Brown and James McQuilkin both had good chances to add to Harriers’ tally before Croasdale duly did with his second on 40 minutes, an arrowed finish into the far corner following good advantage play by the referee.
If the first half was shine and sparkle, the second was solid and assured – the hosts saw the game out with minimum fuss while still trying to add to their score.
Off the bench, Emmanuel Sonupe’s pace caused the visitors plenty of problems after the break, a brace of McQuilkin chances keeping shot-stopper Durrant honest.
Eleven after the restart, North Ferriby’s only real chance of the night brought a fine save from Brandon Hall who flung himself away to his right to palm away Warren’s shot.
Soon after, McQuilkin should have made it five when, in space, he curled the ball beyond the top corner.
Sonupe’s tricky ensured the reds finished the game on the front foot as they prepare for an FA Trophy trip to Boston United on Saturday.

The visit of United is our first evening home fixture in National League North since September and just our third of the season.
It’s a setting the former Leicester City man is looking forward to enjoying.
He knows, however, that there’s a challenging task at hand as the team set about taking points away from a North Ferriby side scrapping for points.
Struggling at the wrong end of the table, they have picked up just one win from their opening 18 contests.
Quite rightly, that’s not enough to fool Pearson.

He knows that Harriers must put in a shift against United to build on a solid point and a good performance at York City this past weekend.
Looking ahead to Tuesday’s fixture he said: “No game in this league is easy; I’ve worked that out since I’ve been here!
“We’ll go into the game positive and in positive spirits.
“We went to York and got a good point at a difficult place on Saturday.
“We have got to build on that now and hopefully get three points on Tuesday night.
“It will be a difficult game but it is the first night match we’ve had for a long time and we are really looking forward to it.”
Harriers will once again be without Tyrone Williams for Tuesday’s game.
The defender serves the second of a three-match suspension for a red card picked up in the draw with Darlington.
Joel Taylor missed Saturday’s trip to York City with a groin injury picked up in the same match and will be assessed again for tonight.
Lee Vaughan and Dan Bradley remain out with injuries, with the latter now looking increasingly likely to be set for surgery to solve a knee issue that would keep him out until the New Year.
Yan Klukowski, fresh from his debut off the bench at the weekend, is available for a potential home debut on Tuesday.
Kick-off at Aggborough Stadium on Tuesday is at 7:45pm.
