KENNEDY Digie says he’s enjoying the rigors of pre-season training as the summer schedule rolls on at Aggborough.
The former Worcester City and Stourbridge loanee has enjoyed a busy week of it.
Reflecting back on the Villa match, the youngster stressed that the camp are only focused on working on their own positives.
“Pre-season is getting easier as our bodies adjust…” Kennedy Digie
While the two Championship sides claimed victories at Aggborough there were still plenty of encouraging sides for John Eustace’s men.
The Academy graduate is concentrating firmly on that – and admits he’s already seeing the benefits of his first full pre-season schedule in a couple of years.
“That’s the main thing – we try to take positives out of what we’re doing,” he said.
“We try to do the right things and do what the gaffer is telling us to do – it doesn’t matter about the opposition.
“It has been a great experience playing against top players and seeing what that level is like.
“Pre-season is getting easier as our bodies adjust, but it has been good.
“The first week was torture [but] we are getting sharper and fitter.”
Fans have watched on as the powerful, versatile Harrier has gone about his business this week.

While many will have noted his physical prowess and aggression on the pitch, Digie himself is also confident on his abilities elsewhere, too.
Smiling, he added: “I like to think I’ve got more than that!
“I feel like I can play a bit as well – I think we did that on Wednesday.
“We were good on the ball and were positive in our passing.”
Harriers are next in pre-season action at Stourport Swifts on Saturday afternoon, 15 July at 3:00pm.
