Kidderminster will host England U17s v Italy U17s later this month as preparation for next summer’s UEFA U17 Euros in the Young Lions’ own backyard begins.
St. George’s Park will be the base for the 2018 finals, the first U17 men’s tournament to be played in England.
An U17 squad led by Neil Dewsnip will face Turkey (18 August) and Scotland (20 August) in behind-closed-doors fixtures at The FA’s national football centre before heading to the home of the Harriers for the match-up with the Italians on Tuesday, 22 August 2017, 7pm kick-off.
It will be almost a year to the day since Kidderminster’s Aggborough Stadium last hosted an England side when the U20s, then managed by Aidy Boothroyd and on the start of their road to World Cup glory in South Korea, narrowly lost 2-1 to Brazil.
Tickets for this latest fixture are priced at £3 and £1.50 and can be purchased in person from the ticket offices at Aggborough.
As usual, Group and Charter Standard bookings are available – forms can be downloaded below or obtained from Aggborough.
