Young Reds continue Floodlit campaign

A draw for our U18s……

Harriers U18s continued their season in the Midland Floodlit Youth League on Thursday night, with a 1-1 draw against Cheltenham Town.

In a match taking place at Walshes Meadow, Harriers took the lead after 20 minutes through Zac Ballard. Marcus Jones played a pass into the path of Ethan Muckley who turned well, setting up Ballard to finish in to the bottom left corner.

Harriers held their lead heading into the interval, and had a number of chances to extend their lead.

However, with only eight minutes remaining, the away side found an equaliser after a mix up in the Harriers defence, resulting in an own goal.

The match finished as a draw, with the young reds remaining top of the league ahead of their next match away at Cindeford on 5 December.
