Join Harriers in Africa

Do something incredible with your community football club…

Kidderminster Harriers are recruiting adventurous supporters and volunteers to do something amazing in Africa next year.

From 25th May to 1st June 2019, Harriers are embarking on a week-long mission to Kenya, Africa, where we’re teaming up with African Adventures – the UK’s most effective volunteer travel organisation. The charity are returning to Kenya to build on the community development work they carried out in the area each year.

Harriers will be promoting a series of fundraising activities and events occurring throughout the year for supporters and volunteers to be involved raising money for this once in a lifetime trip.

The trip will cost £1595 per-person and will include flights, accommodation, food and African transport, which can either be paid directly or generated via your own fundraising. To finish this remarkable adventure, volunteers will experience the fascinating culture and enjoy the breath taking natural beauty of the region with a fantastic safari day!

Interested? Harriers will be hosting an information evening on Wednesday 24th January at the Aggborough Suite. The event will take place between 6–7pm and will allow you to get all the information regarding the trip and to ask any questions. Please note there will no expectation for attendees to commit to signing up to the event at this information evening.

We’d love to hear from anyone interested in attending the information event and ask that those wanting to join us please confirm their attendance to James Long via email or by contacting the club on 01562 823931.

You can also get some more details by downloading the trip flyer [PDF, 2MB].
