The final instalment our series looking back at the 2017/18 end-of-season award winners brings us to the biggie – Harriers Supporters’ Player of the Year

KHFC SUPPORTERS’ PLAYER OF THE YEAR: FRASER HORSFALL

To state Fraser Horsfall settled quickly into life in Worcestershire would be a misnomer to say the very least.

The Huddersfield Town Academy graduate joined the Reds on August transfer deadline day in 2017 and rarely looked back – though his debut two days later was a baptism of fire, the defender helplessly scoring an own goal in the 1-1 draw with Boston United at Aggborough.

But, well marshalled by the likes of Jimmy O’Connor and James Pearson, the centre half blossomed during a season in which he made 43 starts and chipped in with four goals. Not least, this one….

It’s no surprise, then, that this emerging talent gathered more votes from Harriers fans than any other to claim the Supporters’ Player of the Year award. Well done, Fraser!
