Kidderminster Harriers would like to make clear the following information following concerns raised to them by supporters.
In recent weeks and especially the last few days, the club have been contacted by a considerable number of fans who are concerned about monies they are spending on a Lottery run by KHIST, having been of the understanding that this money was passed to the club as a matter of course.
Purely for the sake of clarity, the club would like to make clear that it neither currently receives any money raised by KHIST via its Lottery, nor has it done for the last 16 months. KHIST have made clear that funds paid to them by supporters in this way is being retained for use in the event the club suffers a catastrophic failure in the future. If supporters are still happy to pay money into the KHIST Lottery with that fact in mind, the club does not discourage them from doing so.
We make this information clear only as a statement of fact and to allow supporters to make an informed decision and do not intend to trigger confrontation or debate on the matter as such attempts have long proved futile.
Supporters wishing to play a monthly Lottery that does directly fund not only the Club but also local sports clubs and organisations, are able to sign up to the Goalden Gate Lottery.
