Harriers Ladies reached double figures for goals on Sunday with an 11-1 victory over Leamington Lions.
A good all round Harriers performance containing some good passages of play; the match started slowly but Amy Plimmer opened the scoring before the lead was increased with a well taken corner by Kirsty Roberts which curled into the top corner.
The same player then increased the lead with her second and the teams third – Leamington’s keeper could not hold the original shot and Roberts followed up and put the ball away.
Against the run of play, Leamington struck on the break – a good finish over the top of the advancing keeper Hannah Tromans to make it 3-1 at half time.
In the second 45, Harriers found the net multiple times – Amber Lawrence bagged herself a second half hat trick, Alex Nicklin and Amie Savva each netted braces alongside a goal from Molly Maguire to see the final score sit at 11-1.
This result secured the runners up spot in the West Midland Regional League Division One South.
