Eyes turn to Holker Street...

JAMES McQuilkin wants Harriers to take their good recent form into Saturday’s FA Trophy trip to Barrow.

The reds have picked up three wins in their last three matches – among them a victory against Ebbsfleet in the last round of this competition.

For the first time in this run, Harriers will take on higher-graded opposition when they visit National League promotion hopefuls at Holker Street.

But McQuilkin says the trip should hold no fears for the squad.

“We’ll be going there and will try and play our best, and the way we can,” he insisted.

“You never know what can happen and it is obviously a difficult place to go.

“Barrow are in good form themselves, but so are we and hopefully it will be a good match.”

Knowing he and his team mates must stick to their guns once again on Saturday, McQuilkin added: “We’re always confident that chances will come, as long we we believe in the way we play.
