Defender pleased with a solid three points...
ZAINE Francis-Angol was pleased to be back in action for Harriers following his return to the side against Stockport County at the weekend.
The former Motherwell defender has been missing through injury since January 21.
But he played the full 90 minutes in the weekend’s 2-0 victory against the Hatters to keep up the team’s strong home record.
He admitted it was a stern test with which to get back into the thick of it, but was delighted with the three points.
“I’ve had some niggly injuries but it is good to be back playing and to get 90 minutes under my belt,” he said.
“Stockport were in great form and it was a tough game to come back to so it was a shock to the system.
“We got through it and got three points in the end so there’s a lot of credit to take out of that.”
