Harriers meet Walsall in a pre-season friendly match at Aggborough on Tuesday night.
The club have racked up five successive friendly victories and will be tested to the max in trying to make that six; up next are the League One Saddlers, managed by Dean Smith.
Speaking ahead of the fixture, Assistant boss Gary Whild admits his team’s pre-season programme is again showing its variety, commenting: “It’s another different one for us but that is exactly what we want.
“These are all hard games but we know that when the League season gets underway, we have a particularly difficult start.
“The games are fitting in nicely now and we’d like to think that we’ll be a tough test for Walsall, too.
“We’ve finished sixth in the last two seasons and have strengthened again so hopefully they can look at us and know they’re going to get a stern outing.”
Kick-off at Aggborough tonight is 7:30pm. Don’t forget that admission is £8.00 for adults, £5.00 for concessions and FREE for U16s.
