BIG RON: Atkinson at Aggborough

Posted on: Thu 28 May 2009

Harriers are delighted to announce that former Aston Villa and Coventry City Manager Ron Atkinson is to stage a Sportsman's Dinner at Aggborough Stadium.

As a player, 'Big Ron' racked up almost 400 appearances for Oxford United before embarking on a management career that's spanned four decades.

From taking the hot-seat at Kettering back in 1971, all the way up to stints at Peterborough and Halesowen over the last few years, Atkinson has seen and said it all!

Often outspoken and at times controversial, he lists Manchester United, West Bromwich Albion and Athletico Madrid among his other previous clubs.

Big Ron will come to Aggborough on Friday, 11 September 2009 where he will be joined by friend and broadcaster Bob Hall who will oversee the evening.

Harriers are selling tickets to the event in tables of ten - each table will cost £300 plus vat and includes a delicious four-course meal.

Sportsman's Dinner evenings have always proved popular at Kidderminster Harriers, with ex-England boss Graham Taylor, World Cup winner Alan Ball and local legend Steve Bull among those to have packed out the Aggborough Suite.

Make sure you book early to avoid disappointment and ensure you're a part of what promises to be another one of those special evenings.
