WEIGHT LIFT-ERS - BLOG TWO

Posted on: Mon 06 Feb 2012

Start weight 22st 3lbs
Current weight 20st 12lbs

It's time for Blog 2 from my weight loss challenge - we're into week three and things are getting a little tough!

I must admit it is getting harder. I am being helped by the staff down at DW Sports who, I have to say, have been absolutely excellent since I've started being put through my paces down there.

Time for a few confessions, I think. I have been giving a wide berth to Gavin Crowe. He's determined to get me into a weights and swimming session with goalkeeper Danny Lewis, which I am trying to avoid at all costs for now, as there'd only be one winner!

After our recent game at Stockport I did head out into Bewdley for the evening and indulge in some drink and takeaway food. I also went out this past Friday to celebrate my father's birthday but, relatively speaking, was quite healthy. I even had a salad with my meal!

Supporter Sian Stockton, who is taking this challenge with me, took great delight in informing that she was voted Slimmer of the Month at a class she attends. Well done, her!

So far I'm down to 20st 12, which I am pleased with. It's getting tougher but I'm sure will be worth it!
