Harriers added another piece to their 2011/12 jigsaw with the signing of versatile utility player Mickey Demetriou following his departure from Eastbourne Borough.
21 year-old Mickey has a strong footballing education - as well as first-team experience with the likes of Worthing and Bognor Regis, he is a former England Colleges International and has spent time learning his trade with the Glenn Hoddle Academy.
He has in the past interested the likes of Leicester and Fulham and spent time on trial with both, his arrival into non-league football's top-tier coming with the switch to Borough in February this year. He made ten appearances for the struggling side towards the back end of last season and actually helped improve their form; he also put in an impressive display against Harriers, catching the eye of the Aggborough staff in the process.
