Harriers Chairman Barry Norgrove has hailed Law Plant Hire's arrival as Short Sponsors at the club as 'a great achievement.'

Harriers.co.uk broke the news earlier this afternoon that the Worcester Road based outfit had come on board as one of the club's main sponsors ahead of the new 2008/09 season.

After spending the morning giving Managing Director Mark Houghton a detailed tour of Aggborough, Norgrove spoke to the official Harriers site about the deal.

Still in it's relative infancy, Norgrove admitted his delight at the success of short sponsorship, and stated that revealed a few details of this year's deal.

"We're delighted to have Mark and his company on board, - it's a great achievement for us as they're a well-established business within the town," he told harriers.co.uk.

"The Short Sponsorship package is a very successful one and we're pleased to be developing this, and hope we can go from strength to with it.

"We've secured a five-figure deal for this year as well as getting all of the football club's needs covered in terms of tools and machinery for the ground which is just as vital for us."

With business and consumers alike feeling the proverbial pinch just lately, Norgrove went on to say that it's a great news for the club that there has been such interest in the shirt and short sponsorships during the summer, with Tim Rose Electrical announced as Shirt Sponsors in April.

"Business are obviously struggling at the moment, the country is in a bit of a recession and so obviously sponsorship isn't out there to just go and get," he added.

"But we're delighted to have two good sponsors as well as having other business interested in those packages.

"That's a great sign for Kidderminster Harriers - we hope we can build a good relationship with these sponsors and carry on over a number of years and take the club forward."
