Striker Justin Richards has revealed the disappointment in the Harriers' dressing room that the hosts failed to polish off Woking in today's game.

Despite dominating long spells of the Blue Square Premier clash at Aggborough, Woking's late goal ensured that the spoils were shared, another chance missed to make ground in the league table for Harriers.

And that was the message from Richards, who spoke to the press after the game in which he'd put his side ahead from the penalty spot.

"We're really disappointed not to take the three points," he said. "Especially giving the goal away in the way we did, from a set-piece.

"Other than that, our 'keeper has hardly had anything to do so it's really disappointing."

Richards scored his seventh goal of the season from the spot with 37 minutes gone.

The ex-Cards' striker put in a good showing against his former employers but, whilst admitting he was pleased to have got on the score sheet, a victory would have been much more welcome.

"It's always nice to score a goal but I think we'd have been a lot better off with the three points to be honest," he continued.

"But from a personal view it is nice to score goals.

"But the longer the game went on, the more difficult it became. We just wanted to push on and win the game but you don't want to concede like we did in the last five minutes, it was hard to take."

So it's two points dropped for Harriers, with Oxford United coming to town next week for more league action.

The boys can make a jump of up to four places to seventh in the Blue Square Premier with a win over the Us, and it's points that need to count for Mark Yates' side, with Richards left to lament today's draw.

"For all of our good play in midfield, we didn't quite have that bit of quality in the final third, me included," added the striker.

"I felt Woking were there for the taking.

"Although it's very disappointing, we are four unbeaten. We just know we have to pick up more points if we want to do something in the league."
