And, after catching up with Brian Smikle this week, we thought it was time to give 'There's no 'I' in 'Team' a run out…
Many would think youngster Smikle must be spitting feathers in frustration at the fact that he's made just eight league starts this term, with a further fifteen coming from the bench.
But that's not necessarily the case, as he explained to us.
Don't misunderstand his sentiments, the 22 year-old still admits that he'd love to feature more regularly as a fixture in the starting XI.
Rather, it's the case that he's just happy to be contributing in some way to the upturn in form that's seen Harriers win each of their last four Blue Square Premier games.
"When the gaffer has been giving me my chance I've just been doing my best to take it," he told us.
"I think I have done well with the chances I've had but with the team doing so well, I can't really complain.
"I'd rather take a win and the team playing well over me playing well.
"Just to play any part of the game really, I'm happy.
"I would like to start every game, just like any player, but sometimes it just isn't meant to be.
"But the part I have been playing in the last couple of games I have thoroughly enjoyed, I love it every time I get on to the pitch."
Smikle was introduced early in the second half of Harriers' 3-0 win at Cambridge United last weekend, and truly put the frighteners on a rattled and shaky home defence.
His injection of pace also caused Ebbsfleet United a number of problems late on in Tuesday night's victory here at Aggborough.
"The gaffer said at Cambridge to just go on and cause them a few problems and I knew I could have them for pace and I was glad to help the boys win," recalled the winger.
"He said for me to be the 'out' ball and I think it worked, we got the victory that we thoroughly deserved.
"It was the same again on Tuesday, really, and I really should have scored at the end - I didn't see Shcolesy coming in and I could have played it to him, I just got a bit greedy I think!"
The change in personnel around the dressing room in the January transfer window played a big part in Harriers' upturn of results in recent weeks, according to the former West Bromwich Albion man.
But a settled side and a new-found attacking formation has done just as much to contribute to the good run, and Smikle went on to say he's very much enjoying his current role.
He went on: "I think getting out some of the old faces and changing things around a bit has helped a lot.
"It was sad to see those lads go but I think it needed to be done and we needed that fresh start.
"And this formation we've got now is settled at the moment and we're more relaxed in every area of our game and its letting us play better.
"The formation is suited to me perfectly - I'm an attacking-minded player so coming on to the pitch and going straight into attack is great and I'm just enjoying what I'm doing."
Harriers well and truly battled to get their 2-1 win over Liam Daish's FA Trophy Finalists here on Tuesday night, and it's a fact without any doubt that they'll need to put in every bit as tough a shift to make it five wins on the trot this afternoon.
Graham Heathcote's Altrincham, themselves putting in some decent results in a bid to avoid the drop, are in town and will have designs on making it all go pear-shaped for Mark Yates' men.
"We know they'll come here and frustrate us and make us work hard for everything," added Smikle.
"We've just got to be patient and be composed on the ball and use it correctly, not giving it away cheaply and if we bide our time, we're confident we can get a goal.
"The gaffer wants us to win every game until the end of the season and the lads believe that, with the form we're in at the moment, we can do that."
Like almost all of his team mates, Smikle finds himself out of contract here at Aggborough in the summer.
He stated that he has the self-belief to realise he has what it takes to nail down new terms at the club, along with the desire to work hard and make sure he gets just that.
"I'm fairly confident in my ability to win a new deal - I think you have to be in this game otherwise you'd be out of a job!," he explained.
"I'm never complacent about it, I'm just going to go out and do my best between now and the end of the deal and hopefully I can get one - I have just got to believe in myself and then it'll be up to the gaffer to decide what he wants to do."
