Harriers Ready to Bolster Squad

Posted on: Thu 31 Jul 2008

IT'S that time of year again when you, the fans of Kidderminster Harriers, decide whether or not you've got what it takes to join Mark Yates' squad for the new campaign.

For the past two seasons, the '12th Man' competition has given one lucky supporter the chance to become an official Kidderminster Harriers squad member.

The 12th man is assigned the squad number 12 for the whole season, and will be listed as an official squad member in all match programmes both here at Aggborough and across the country - you'll even get your very own player profile here at harriers.co.uk.

You'll also get the chance to line-up with the rest of the squad members for the official team photograph which gets taken early next month - as well as getting your own individual 'head and shoulders' snap taken.

Interested in becoming the 12th man? Well, you'd be mad not to be! It's the perfect way to get involved with squad - by being in it!

This year, we're inviting interested parties to take part in a postal auction.

Those wanting to become 12th Man can send in a sealed bid by post to the club offices. We're setting a deadline of Monday, August 4 for all bids to be received, and once we've sorted through them all it's a simple matter of highest bid wins!

We'll then notify the winner that they've become 12th Man for the new season; though we do ask that all applicants be available to come Aggborough the following day on Tuesday, August 5.

Send your bid for the 12th man auction in a sealed envelope, and include your name and all of your details and contact information to: Helen Macdonald, Commercial Manager at Kidderminster Harriers FC, Aggborough Stadium, Hoo Road, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, DY10 1NB.

Bids by e-mail will be accepted but must also be received by the above date to: helen.macdonald@harriers.co.uk.

Good luck!
