Lee Baker should be fit to re-take his place in the Kidderminster Harriers' squad for Saturday's game at Mansfield Town after missing last night's game at Cambridge.

Baker made his Harriers' debut against Lewes at Aggborough Stadium this past weekend, but took a knock during the game that left a previously-injured knee in rough shape.

But the youngster returned to parent club West Brom for a scan on Monday, which allayed any fears of a long-term problem.

"It's just a knock from the game on Saturday that's left his knee a bit swollen," boss Mark Yates commented.

"He had a scan up at West Bromwich Albion (on Monday) and thankfully there were no problems.

"He should be fit for the weekend."

The 19 year-old left back will be hopeful of a return to the side as Harriers travel to Field Mill to meet a Mansfield side relegated from the Football League last season.

Looking forward, Yates added: "They have two big lads up front and Michael Blackwood will want to put one over on us.

"It's going to be a tough game, we know that - they've got a number of good players in their side but, so have we.

"We've got to keep believing - we just need that first win."
