Harriers Make Moore Deal
KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS can this afternoon confirm the short-term signing of former Aston Villa and QPR striker Stefan Moore.
The 25 year-old has spent the last couple of weeks training with the club, and penned a deal at Aggborough this lunchtime that will see him stay for at least the next month.
Moore began his career at Villa along side brother Luke, and was Captain of the youth side that won the FA Youth Cup back in 2002.
He progressed through to the first-team with the Premiership outfit and made 22 appearances, scoring twice before leaving in 2005 to join QPR.
The striker has spent time out on loan at the likes of Leicester City, Milwall and Port Vale, and most recently featured for League One side Walsall last season, scoring on his debut.
"Stefan will stay with us for a month initially, with a view to something longer after that," boss Mark Yates told harriers.co.uk.
"We've offered him a deal we could afford, but it's not really been an issue of money for him, he just wants to be involved with what we're trying to do and prove that he's a good player."
Stefan goes straight into the squad for Harriers' home game against Ebbsfleet United at Aggborough in the Blue Square Premier tomorrow (3.00pm).
