Brian Smikle is the latest player to pledge his future to Kidderminster Harriers, the popular midfielder agreeing a new one-year deal today.

The former West Bromwich Albion player is now one of the longest-serving members of the squad following his arrival in 2006.

Although used regularly as a substitute in his first two seasons with the club, Smikle more than played his part with close to 70 appearances to his name going into last tern,

2008/09 proved to be by far his most profitable - 'Junior' made 50 appearances, scoring 10 goals, including a stunner against Altrincham as well as a key goal against eventual Champions Burton Albion.
