Kidderminster Harriers have today been dealt a blow with the news that goalkeeper Dean Coleman is to undergo groin surgery.
The former Walsall man has so far made more than 30 appearances this season but could now possibly miss the remainder of the campaign with the issue needing to be addressed.
It is a disappointment for boss Steve Burr who will now be without Coleman for at least the big few weeks ahead which sees Harriers go into the FA Trophy quarter finals and some vital Blue Square Premier games.
Burr told harriers.co.uk this afternoon: "It's a big blow for us because Dean's come back into the side and we've been picking up some good results but understandably we're at a point now where if the lad is in too much pain then we can't be expecting him to play."
The boss is expecting, however, to have a replacement in the ranks at Aggborough by Thursday ahead of this weekend's Trophy game at Oxford United.
We'll bring you news of the new recruit as and when it is confirmed.
