Boss Steve Burr recapped a busy week's work of transfer dealings at Aggborough when he sat down with harriers.co.uk this afternoon.
Marc Goodfellow had already arrived on loan at the club prior to our League game at Oxford United recently and the new faces have continued this week with James Lawrie, Marcus Bignot and Ross Atkins all coming on board.
Burr is understandably delighted with the new recruits - and after today sending David McDermott out on loan to Halesowen Town, he has hinted to us that there could yet be one more new signing at Aggborough in the coming weeks.
"With Aaron Farrell leaving and knowing that Spence is only with us for another couple of weeks, I knew [up front] was an area we needed to look at," Burr said.
"James is a forward and we have Marc Goodfellow as well so it is a big month for both of those boys here.
"We have got Marcus in as well - he is someone I know well and obviously he has made a great living in the Football League.
"He's probably coming to the twilight of his playing career but he is a very fit lad and we've been impressed with him on the training ground.
"He gives us that bit of cover for full-back areas but he is just so good to have around the place.
"He has a tremendous attitude and that is why he has had such a great career - he now wants to show that he can help us whilst he's here and he will.
"Moving on to Ross - he is a goalkeeper I've watched for a couple of years now and we've had a bit of luck with his loan spell at Burton coming to an end on Wednesday.
"To get someone like him is great for us and coming here will be a good test for Ross, as well - he is a very capable goalkeeper."
All three of the newer additions are able to feature, if selected, against Oxford United in this Saturday's big FA Carlsberg Trophy quarter-final tie at the Kassam Stadium.
Looking ahead to the match that will see the boys backed by a bumper away following, Burr added: "When you look at the draw it is without a doubt the toughest tie we could have had.
"You need a bit of luck in cup competitions so perhaps in that respect the draw wasn't all that kind to us but in saying that, that's what we have been given and we have to try and get through the tie.
"We had a good result here against Oxford in the League and picked up another good result there a couple of weeks ago so we will go with a lot of confidence."
Meanwhile, harriers.co.uk can confirm that Harriers will be without the services of new striker Lawrie for the game against Ebbsfleet United on March 2 after he was called up to the Northern Ireland U21s side for their game in San Marino on the same evening.
