Steve Burr has revealed that Harriers will be missing key midfield man John Finnigan for this weekend's trip to Eastbourne Borough.
The influential former Cheltenham Town man had to be withdrawn early in Tuesday night's 2-2 draw with Ebbsfleet United after picking up a calf strain.
The Aggborough assistant boss has been ruled of this Saturday's trip to the seaside but it is hoped he'll be fit to take his place in the side for next weekend's FA Trophy semi-final against Stevenage Borough.
"We'll be missing John Finnigan this weekend which is a big blow to us because he has been doing great," Burr admitted today.
"He pulled up with a calf injury [on Tuesday], but hopefully with a week's rest he should be back in time for the Stevenage game."
Finnigan's omission means Burr will be forced into at least one change ahead of the weekend.
He added: "It will be an opportunity for someone else to go in there and carry the baton on and keep things going like they have been."
Harriers also hope to be in a position to announce a completed deal for Redditch United midfielder Jack Byrne within the next 24 hours.
