Posted on: Tue 09 Mar 2010

Kidderminster Harriers fans can start the countdown to Saturday's big semi-final tie against Stevenage Borough when The FA Carlsberg Trophy goes on display in the town this Friday lunchtime.

The Football Association and Harriers chairman, Barry Norgrove, will have The FA Trophy on display in The Swan Centre from 12.30pm and will be located by Gilbert fabrics and adjacent to Boots.

FA spokesman, Matt Phillips, commented: "The FA Carlsberg Trophy is a massive competition for The Football Association and we know how much it means to the thousands of football fans, clubs and volunteers around the country.

"We're delighted to host the trophy in Kidderminster on Friday on the eve of what should be a cracking game against the holders and hope that all Harriers fans can make it down to The Swan Centre for a photo."

Harriers' Press Officer Matt Wall added: "Obviously all Harriers fans are looking forward to Saturday's game and Friday's event is something a bit special and a little different.

"It will give supporters the chance to get up close and personal with a piece of silverware we'd very much love to have back in Kidderminster come May."

Kidderminster Harriers fans are reminded to bring their own cameras if they're looking for a photo with The FA Trophy.

Kick off at the Harriers' Aggborough ground for Saturday's first leg semi-final, meanwhile, is at 3:00pm.
