KEEP IT UP: Burr's Call to Fans
Steve Burr has urged Harriers fans to roar their team through what is arguably their toughest period of the season starting with the FA Trophy semi final against Stevenage at Aggborough this weekend.
Harriers fans have clearly taken to unbeaten Burr since his arrival in Worcestershire and the feeling, it would appear, is very much mutual.
And with this Saturday's first leg semi against Stevenage being the first of three key games for the club over the course of seven days, the manager has called upon those fans to keep up the tremendous support they've shown especially in recent weeks.
After the Stevenage home tie it as off on the road to Luton Town for a Blue Square Premier fixture, before travelling to Borough's Lamex Stadium for the second leg on the 20th.
The fans will be needed for every minute of those games - with Burr telling harriers.co.uk today: These are the types of games we've earned the right to be in - we're looking forward to them and I'm sure the supporters are as well.
"The support we've had from the terraces has been fantastic and the fans will play a really big part in things for us over the course of our next three matches, so long may that continue.
"It was great to see so many fans down at Eastbourne on Saturday.
"I spoke to a lot of them before the game about what type of journey they'd had and how early they had set off and that is what following your team is all about.
"It's terrific, and shows how they feel about supporting this club."
