Harriers have put the nightmare of last weekend's first-leg thumping at the hands of Stevenage firmly towards the back of their mind ahead of this weekend's second bout, according to boss Steve Burr.
Burr will lead his side to the Lamex Stadium to contest a second-leg in which Harriers begin four goals behind - a 5-1 score line already in favour of the Blue Square Premier League leaders.
But the hefty deficit will not be a weight around the players' necks, says Burr, who insists that Harriers will go to win the game, whilst retaining hope of still going on to win the tie itself.
"We were all very shell-shocked [about last weekend] - not about the defeat so much, but the score line.
"In the dressing room afterwards and at half time when we were 3-1 down, it was hard to take.
"But if you're in Stevenage's dugout then it is ruthless finishing; if you're in ours its poor marking and letting people come at us.
"We've got the boys up again this week and we had a good response at Luton which was always going to be a difficult game.
"Going into this weekend, we'll just try and give our all and do our best to give a major upset."
Two defeats and two draws from the last four games may not be ideal preparation for this weekend's trip, but the gaffer is seeing the value of being able to test his players in defeat.
He added: "I said to the players when I first walked in the door that everyone can win - it's easy enough winning and not losing matches.
"It's the character of a side when things don't go so well for you and you maybe lose that bit of luck and you lose that edge, that's when you stick together.
"There have been a lot of plusses since we've been here - but what we've done, we've done and what we've got to get back to doing what we did to get a string of results and hopefully that can start on Saturday."
