Steve Burr has completed his second summer signing in as many days today after capturing the signature of England C International defender Lee Vaughan from AFC Telford.
The highly-rated 23 year-old has agreed a two-year deal here at Aggborough Stadium that will get underway when players report for pre-season training on July 5.
Vaughan, a former Walsall man, has established himself as one of the most consistent defenders in the on-league game whilst at Telford during a four-year stay.
Comfortable at right back and further forward, he was instrumental in the club winning promotion to the Blue Square North, and being in amongst the promotion contenders in that division on a regular basis since.
Having attracted interest from several Blue Square Premier clubs following another good season with the New Bucks Head outfit, the player has decided to make the step-up with Harriers.
"Lee is a player I have looked at for a number of years and I am surprised he has yet to move back up into the Football League to be honest," a delighted boss Steve Burr told harriers.co.uk today.
"I know that one or two clubs were interested in him but as soon as I spoke to him about coming to Kidderminster he had made his mind up.
"He is someone who loves to get forward and join in the attack but he is also a solid defender and that has always impressed me, he is a good, all-round athlete."
Harriers hope to have some more information on further signings here on the official website a little later today.
