Steve Burr has conceded that losing striker Marc Williams to the Wales U21 squad is a 'huge blow', but is confident his side can manage without the on loan front man.
Williams, currently on a three-month spell from Blue Square Bet Premier rivals Wrexham, has been given the nod to represent his country next month when they face Hungary and Italy.
The commitments will see him miss Harriers' League fixtures at home Tamworth on Bank Holiday Monday and away at Altrincham next weekend.
Although disappointed at losing a striking option, Burr remains upbeat about the coming weeks with Nick Wright in goal scoring form, Lee Morris fighting fit and with Chris McPhee ready to pounce.
"It is a disappointment for us because we lose Marc for two very important games, but it is a tremendous honour for him," the manager told harriers.co.uk.
"We just have to get on with it and while Marc is available we will look to get the most out of him - he has done well in training and looked bright and sharp in the games he's played for us.
"We have him at our disposal for this weekend first of all and that only makes us stronger."
Ahead of Saturday's Newport trip, Burr added: "Nick has some bruising on his ankle but we're hopeful that will have cleared up in time for the weekend and obviously Lee Morris came through Tuesday okay so we have some real options up there."
