Boss Steve Burr looks set to be without on loan midfielder Aman Verma for this weekend's trip to Altrincham.

The midfielder, on loan from Leicester City, damaged a bone in his hand in his debut at Newport last weekend and was handed a place on the bench on Bank Holiday Monday against Tamworth as a precaution.

With news coming through that he has suffered a fracture, both Harriers and Verma's parent club will weigh up the options which will be presented to the player when he visits a specialist later today.

A 'soft' cast on the hand would hopefully allow Aman to continue playing, though the application of a heavier cast would almost certainly rule him out for the short term.

Burr and his staff await further news but the player's availability for at least this weekend looks to be in doubt.
