There's plenty more for Harriers fans to see of Lee Vaughan following his debut in the side over the last couple of weeks, says assistant Gary Whild.
The England C International full-back was one of the club's first summer signings when he pledged his future to Harriers courtesy of a two-year deal.
Despite a strong pre-season in which he quickly endeared himself to the Aggborough faithful, Vaughan was left kicking his heels once the action proper got underway, thanks to a four-match suspension for a sending off at the back end of last term.
But he made his debut at the very end of August and is slowly beginning to remind fans what he's capable of.
Speaking today, Aggborough No.2 Whild is pleased to see the lively youngster finding his groove.
"I think Lee was obviously frustrated to have moved to a new club and to not be involved for the first few games," he said.
"Maybe at the moment he is still a bit rusty from missing so much competitive game time but he worked hard in pre-season and he's just happy to be in the side.
"I've no doubt he'll do better as time goes on and hopefully he is someone who can do well for the club."
Vaughan's no-nonsense style on the pitch is mirrored by a less-than-shy approach to life off the field, as Whild went on to reveal.
"Effort-wise, he is 120% and he gives you a lot of energy down that right-hand side," he adds.
"He is a good character to have around the place and the key thing is that he is only 24, he's of a young age and so there is still a lot of room to progress.
"What you see of Lee on the pitch is what you get with him off it - he's a bottle of pop and has plenty to say for himself!
"But he's a fantastic personality and certainly he keeps a few on their toes."
Meanwhile, Harriers are this week discussing the future of on-loan midfielder Aman Verma with parent club Leicester City.
Injury has ruled the youngster out for at least a couple of weeks which would render him unavailable for the rest of his one-month period at Aggborough.
Any potential early recall would, however, need to be approved by the relevant authorities, with Whild adding: "Aman has seen a specialist and he is being advised to take it easy for the next couple of weeks, so understandably Leicester want him back there with them."
