Stockport County have confirmed that there is to be a precautionary pitch inspection at Edgeley Park ahead of our game on Saturday.

Officials at County have been in touch to say that the surface there is very heavy in places, and with a touch-and-go forecast in store overnight, there is a slight concern about the tie.

The pitch is due to be examined at about 9:30am - we'll bring you news of the result as soon as we have it.
