Today on harriers.co.uk we're taking a look at those coming down from League Two to the Blue Square Bet Premier ahead of the new term.
DARLINGTON
At first glance you'd think that 'crisis club' Darlington are only set for more struggle next term as they adjust to life in the BSBP.
But look a little closer and you'll discover that they could yet be one of the sides to take the division by storm.
Under the leadership of former Barnsley boss Simon Davey, the Quakers ended a nightmare season with a marked improvement, the new gaffer's arrival sparking fortunes and indeed hope amongst the Darlo fans.
Whilst already having a set-up to rival any Football League club, Darlington are slowly shaping a side fit to face this League, the signing of Altrincham's Chris Senior for instance already looking to be a masterstroke. Pacy and diminutive, Senior notched 14 goals for Alty last year and is proven at this level.
GRIMSBY TOWN
The hunger of Grimsby Town for an immediate return to the Football League may well be a touch greater than others, purely for the fact that they came so very close to achieving what would have been the miracle of survival.
Only last day results condemned the side to life in the BSBP for at least a season - Cheltenham Town and Barnet the lucky pair to breathe a sigh of relief at the expense of the men from Blundell Park.
The fact that they lost just five games from their final 13 in League Two shows you they were hardly relegated emphatically, and that's sure to add to the fire of those supporters willing the team to make this a one-term pit-stop in non-league football.
