Blue Square Bet Premier side Darlington have today been rocked by the resignation of boss Simon Davey after just a few months at the club.
Former Barnsley manager Davey arrived in the north east towards the end of their doomed League Two campaign - with the side already virtually relegated, he worked wonders to not only improve performances, but also lift the mood of the camp as they re-group for a bid to return at the first attempt.
Speculation is rife that Davey is to take over the reins at Hereford United, though the club insist they have had no contact with the Bulls.
