Grays Slip Further Behind
CRISIS-club Grays Athletic somehow found themselves just five points off the Conference drop-zone after yet another defeat yesterday, losing 3-1 to struggling Southport.
The Haig Avenue outfit, playing their first game since the departure of Paul Cook, dispatched the former title-favourites with relative ease yesterday - a match watched by Grays' fourth manager of the season in Justin Edinburgh.
Elsewhere, it's still all to play for at the top as Oxford dropped more points at Morecambe, Dagenham and Redbridge seized the chance to open up a four-point gap between first and second place with a 3-2 home win over Woking.
Rushden and Diamonds also lost again whilst York hammered five past Crawley.
