Kidderminster Harriers were left to rue a whole host of missed chances as they conceded a late equaliser at home to struggling Woking.
The home side had controlled the most of what was a poor game up until substitute Guiseppe Sole slotted past Chris MacKenzie in the last five minutes.
Harriers made one change to the side that beat Ware in FA Cup action last weekend, Gavin Hurren slotted in at centre-back in place of the suspended Stuart Whitehead.
It was Woking who had the first chance of the afternoon with ten minutes gone, top scorer and man-mountain Marvin Morgan wriggled free inside the area and got a good shot away at an angle that went just wide.
The match, the first televised at Aggborough by Setanta Sports, took a while to get going; Michael McGrath fronted the first dangerous move of the afternoon for the hosts. Despite perhaps having better options out wide, the young midfielder closed in on goal and hit a speculative drive that rose over the bar.
With half an hour gone it was McGrath in action again. Justin Richards, who put in an inspired performance against his former side, moved well inside the box and teed up McGrath whose low drive was spilled by goalkeeper Ross Warner and cleared wide.
Nine minutes before the interval, Harriers were awarded a penalty; Richards had beaten Tom Hutchinson all ends up to a ball inside the area but was crudely flattened by the Cards' skipper. Referee Simon Hooper had no hesitation in pointing to the spot, and RICHARDS slotted home the resultant kick with confidence.
In the last two minutes of the half there were a further two chances for Mark Yates' side to increase their lead; Brian Smikle headed well but wide from a McGrath corner, and James Constable forced a good save from the feet of Worner after getting into the box unchallenged.
The second half saw an improvement in the visitors and the lively Matt Pattison caused a few problems, five minutes in he jinxed his way past the defence and fired a shot over MacKenzie's goal.
After the hour mark some good work by Smikle got Richards involved again. The former Peterborough United man turned well on the edge of the area and had easily beat Warner with his low drive but the ball whizzed just passed the post.
The game and the pace of it quietened down but the hosts remained largely in control, though Worner and Smikle were lucky to escape injury when they collided with 72 on the clock.
Richards took a good touch inside the area 12 minutes from time after being played in by Smikle, but failed to double his tally for the afternoon as he hit just over.
Five minutes from time, Woking grabbed the equaliser that they'll feel their second-half persistence deserved, but as well as having missed a number of good chances and having largely kept the visitors at bay, the goal, from a set-piece, was a sickener for Harriers. A ball was dropped into the feet of hot-shot SOLE, who freely turned in the six-yard box and drilled under MacKenzie, to the delight of the 48 Woking followers.
