Darryl Knights' injury-time goal secured a first away win of the season for Harriers as they came from behind to beat Weymouth 2-1.
The home side had taken the lead through a 14th minute goal but Justin Richards levelled matters in fine style seven minutes later.
Weymouth looked much more likely to grab a winner in the second half but it was sub Knights who netted three minutes into injury-time.
It was a bright beginning from both sides with the home outfit perhaps a little more cagey in their approach. But it was they who took an early lead and they had more than a helping hand from the visitors.
The Harriers back-line set-up an awful offside trap and when skipper Mark Creighton slipped slightly on the surface, Pierre JOSEPH-DUBOIS saw his chance and simply charged through the entire back four before slipping a low finish past the advancing and relatively helpless Adam Bartlett.
Harriers' response to going behind has been praised at times this season and again it can be credited - it was just seven minutes until the scores were level; Weymouth's Scott Doe headed straight into the path of top scorer RICHARDS who took the ball into the area, dinked past two defenders and cured a great finish into the net from around 15 yards.
Ryan Williams and Michael Malcolm were proving to be real handfuls for Harriers, the latter in particular and they had chances to give Weymouth the lead for a second time before the break -- Malcolm wil have had his head in his hands after he poked wide in front of an open goal from less than ten yards after Bartlett had spilled.
After the break both sides had good chances to get in front -- for the hosts it was that man Macolm again who forced a superb save from Bartlett, an angled drive that the England C stopper got two good palms to.
For Mark Yates' side, before the hour mark Matthew Barnes-Homer looked certain to have bagged his sixth goal of the season - he reacted quickly to pounce on a loose ball in the area but Terras 'keeper Richard Barnard was alert and kept it out.
From there it was almost all one-way traffic - Weymouth put ball after ball into the area and just couldn't get it past Bartlett.
On 76 minutes came one of the best of these chances - Creighton judged the bounce of the ball poorly on the edge of his own box and ended up being beaten too it by the pacey Malcolm who tried to lob Bartlett, only for the former Blyth man to get to it and tip it over.
Joseph-Dubois almost grabbed his second of the day three minutes from time but Bartlett was again there at the right time to get a crucial touch to the ball to take it away from his goal.
After shutting Weymouth out frantically at one end, Harriers then went and stunned the majority of the Wessex Stadium by grabbing the winner deep into stoppage time.
Sub David McDermott put in an excellent low cameo and it was his ball into the box that called all sorts of problems - Andy Ferrell then blasted goalwards as the ball fell into his path but it was KNIGHTS who eventually grabbed hold of it, shooting a deflected effort past the goalkeeper as the ball trickled over the line in slow motion.
Harsh on Weymouth, perhaps, but Harriers again came from behind and whilst quality was at a premium late on, the grit and passion was never found wanting, this must be the biggest boost to Yates and his troops as they head into Tuesday's home game with York looking to move as high as second in the BSP table.
