PROGRAMME PREVIEW: LINCOLN CITY

Posted on: Fri 07 Jan 2005

EX-Lincoln defender Simon Weaver talks to 'The Harrier' tomorrow as he prepares to do battle with his old club at Aggborough.

Speaking as the featured player in the programme for the match against City, Weaver addresses a number of issues, including the Harriers' supporters for whom he reserved special praise.

THE HARRIER: On sale at Aggborough tomorrow.

"They do seem to be very much behind us," he admits.

"They boost you a lot. When you go up for headers and tackles, if you come away with the ball they really roar you on to go and go for more, that kind of support is very important. They deserve to see some good performances and we owe them that."

By picking up a copy of tomorrow's issue (on sale throughout the ground), you'll be able to catch that interview in full, as well as Billy Jones' Last Word feature.

Alongside Stuart Watkiss' programme notes, the games against Leyton Orient and Oxford are both featured in 'Action Replay', whilst Nick Hatton resumes his column to give us his Terrace View.

Programme's will be on sale before kick off, priced at £2.50
