The ref blows...

FULL TIME - HARRIERS 2-2 WBA: The ref calls an end to the game, an entertaining enough affair it was, too. A little disjointed after a raft of subs but once again, plenty for Harriers fans to be positive about. Strong performances from all but mentions to Barnes-Homer, Smikle and Hadley who were tricky customers to a very talented crop of Albion young lions.

Thanks for your company tonight, hope you've enjoyed this trial of LIVE match updates on your official website. Keep the Facebook feeback coming - goodnight for now!

90 Mins - Two minutes of added time here at Aggy, looks like this one is heading for a draw.

85 Mins - Quick as a flash, Baggies boy Sam Mantom races clear of the home defence and races runs down on Letheren's goal. One on one, he hits a decent shot but the young Welshman is having a good night of it and gets down well to pull off a good stop.

GOAL!!

83 Mins - GOAL!! Harriers 2-2 Albion: It's perhaps a bit harsh on Harriers but the visitors grab themselves an equaliser; the ball knocks around loose in the area before Lateef Elford Alliyu puts his foot through it and beats Letheren.

82 Mins - Just been handed tonight's crowd figure. It's a super 1,057, with 373 of a Baggies favour.

76 Mins - Wow. An shot comes from out of nowhere from Albion's Josh Knight - from some 25 yards it thumps off the woodwork and into the path of Lateef Elford Alliyu, who thinks he's got the eaisest of tap ins. He doesn't make allowances for Kyle Letheren, though, who pulls of a superb save at his near post. He had no business keeping that out!

Substitution

75 Mins - SUBSTITUTION: Martin Riley makes way for Zac Costello.

71 Mins - The substitutions have natually changed the flow of the game a little, though Smikle is still finding room to get in behind his man. Tame penalty appeals at both ends as Junior hits the deck for Kiddy, Dave Worrell for Albion. Nothing doing.

Your view...

"Cracking updates. Please mention me. LOL" , says Andrew, my counterpart at Luton Town, on Facebook.
As you wish, mate! There we go. Thanks to Andy for giving me the idea of these live updates... you can blame him! Do join the Hatters' Facebook group if you get a tick - it is quite good.

Substitution

61 Mins - SUBSTITUTIONS: Five of them all at once - thanks gaffer! I think I've caught up now... Going off are sirs Caines, Baker, McPhee, Bennett and Farrell. Going on for the last half hour are McDermott, Knights, Hayward, Dolman and Sharpe.

GOAL!!

58 Mins - GOAL!! Harriers 2-1 WBA: Great solo effort by Kyle Hadley - skips past his man and has the Albion half to himself, save one defender and Farrell who goes with him looking for the pass. Hadley looks his way but decides the shot is the better option; good choice, his sweet strike fools the 'keeper and nestles to his near side in the back of the net.

49 Mins - Farrell goes on a great run from the half-way line, cutting inside on the edge of the area and shooting towards goal - Allsop is down early to gather the front-man's effort.

Substitution

SUBSTITUTION - Harriers make a switch at the break with goalkeeper Kyle Letheren replacing Dean Coleman. The Baggies kick-off and we're back underway.

Your view...

"Enjoying the updates - keep up the good work! Who has been the key player for Harriers so far?" - Laura on KHFC Facebook.
Thanks Laura. For me that's an easy one - Barnes-Homer has had the bit between his teeth all pre-season so far and tonight is no different, he's really into the game. The Baggies also can't seem to get a hold of Smikle who, when given the ball, is causing them all sorts of problems!

The ref blows...HALF TIME - Harriers 1-1 WBA - The ref brings the first half to a close. Started slowly but once the scoring started, Harriers have looked the better side.

45 Mins - Fantastic Harriers move as Smikle is again unleashed on the flank, his end product is again bang on the money and his cross meets the volley of Farrell who strikes it inches over the bar.

42 Mins - The goals have certainly woken up both sides - Harriers now seeing more of the ball as we head to the break, Aaron Farrelll misses out on a potentially dangerous ball by just inches as the hosts look for a second.

GOAL!!

34 Mins: GOAL!! - Harriers 1-1 WBA - That is a very good goal. Brian Smike absolutely busts a gut to get to a long ball outwide, hits a great cross with his left foot that, who else, Barnes-Homer meets with a great header that goes in off the post and 'keeper. All square!

31 Mins - Harriers almost back on level terms in a hurry - Barnsey is showing off some of his tricks outwide and beats all with a great cross which Chris McPhee meets with a great header; Allsop in goal is equal to it.

GOAL!!

27 Mins: GOAL!! - Harriers 0-1 WBA - Well then - a bit of pre-season controversy! Referee awards Albion a penalty for a Martin Riley foul that looked fine from where I'm sitting... No matter for the visitors; Josh Knight steps up and calmly slots the ball home.

26 Mins - Had a quick chat with Baggies Coach Keith Downing prior to the game - he said he was looking forward to seeing how his youngsters handled Hariers' physical threat - so far they've done well.

20 Min - Barnsey is again in amongst things - gets a toe-poke of a shot away through the legs of Albion's Ashley Malcolm but the goalkeepeer holds.

15 Min - Some neat work by winger Kyle Hadley, gets past his man but his cross is too high and Allsop watches it over.

11 Min - A home corner is whipped in and quickly cleared. Ex Albion lad Lee Baker is wearing the skipper's armband against his old pals tonight, nice touch.

8 Min - Barnes-Homer picks up a loose ball on the edge of the box and lashes at it but it's not troubling Ryan Allsop in the goal and goes wide.

6 Min - The hosts are keeping the ball well but there's no early way through this young Albion defence.

1 Min - Harriers are looking dangerous from the off - Kyle Hadley's cross finds Matthew Barnes-Homer who takes it down well but his shot is blocked by the goalkeeper. Aggborough is looking good in this evening sun!
