Harriers keep their pre-season campaign rolling tonight by making the short trip to County rivals Worcester City.
Richard Dryden's Blue Square South charges are sure to provide a stern, physical work-out for Harriers - ideal at this stage of pre-season with the big Blue Square Premier kick-off coming a week on Saturday.
Yates said of the game: "We want to perform but it's part of pre-season and we are going to work hard and try and do the right things.
"Worcester have got some big players, are going to be a threat at set-pieces and will be well organised."
City are expected to field ex-Grimsby and Burton Albion front man Martin Butler in this evening's match, whilst also turning out for the hosts will be Rob Elvins, who after spending time on trial at Aggborough earlier this summer has now penned a contract at St. George's Lane.
Tonight's game is the first of two trips to Worcester within the next week for Harriers - next Monday's Worcestershire Senior Cup Final against Evesham United will also be played at the Lane.
City have confirmed tonight's admission prices as £5 for adults and £2 for Concessions - proof of ID will be required.
Kick-off this evening is 7:45pm.
