HARRIERS play their final pre-season match at Aggborough tomorrow with League Two side Port Vale the visitors.
Vale will provide the final friendly opposition on Saturday ahead of the big Blue Square Premier kick-off next weekend.
Only the Worcestershire Senior Cup Final (Monday, 7:45pm) at Worcester will then await prior to the visit of Hayes and Yeading to Kidderminster on August 8.
With that in mind, boss Mark Yates is looking forward to one of the last chances he'll get to see his troops in action before the term gets underway.
"I've been looking at them and they've had a few good results in pre-season so this is a good game to have," said Yates, who is set to be without Matthew Barnes-Homer who will sit the game out as a precaution after picking up a knock prior to the game at Worcester on Tuesday.
"They are a decent side and the pitch at Aggborough will be nice so it will be a good test.
"A number of players had 90 minutes on Tuesday night and we'll look at doing the same for five or six for tomorrow.
"I'm not one for playing my team on Saturday that I'm going to use the following week because I think that kills one or two and, to be fair, I've got options and I don't know [my team] yet."
Kick-off for tomorrow's game is 3:00pm.
