Steve Burr insists there is still plenty of time for Harriers players to stake a claim for a starting berth for the season's first game at York City as the squad prepare for their penultimate home pre-season friendly against Burton tomorrow (3:00pm).
Harriers have taken things up a notch over the last week, with two further friendly victories under their belts as well as getting two new players signing on the dotted line.
And the visit of the 2008/09 Blue Square Premier Champions Burton tomorrow will present the side with arguably their biggest and tightest test of this warm-up campaign.
Burr now has 18 contracted players at his disposal as that big kick-off up at Kit-Kat Crescent approaches, and he's called on them and any others that remain to use this game against the Brewers, and Crewe come Monday night, to impress even further.
Of Albion's visit, Bur told harriers.co.uk: "It is their last game before they start next week so they will be bringing a strong side with them.
"It will be a good test for our boys as well. We've got three games left in pre-season and it is getting down to the nitty-gritty now of [working on] the best way to approach the York game.
"We're still looking for performances and we've got three games there for the lads to impress."
Harriers will assess the fitness of midfielder Jack Byrne ahead of kick-off. The youngster has experienced stiffness in his back late this week and may not be risked against the League Two side.
John Finnigan may continue his recovery from injury with more game time tomorrow, whilst Mike Williams is set to return after the FA confirmed he is okay to feature as they still await clearance from Wales following his recent transfer to Aggborough.
Kick-off at Aggborough tomorrow is at 3:00pm.
