Harriers' latest pre-season victory has gone further to proving that the squad of 2010/11 will be able to compete in the Blue Square Bet Premier season according to boss Steve Burr.
Nick Wright, Charlie Bird, John Finnigan and Tom Shaw all got on the score sheet at Aggborough on Monday night as the home side cruised to a 4-0 win over Crewe Alexandra.
Added to the weekend's 1-0 win over Burton and the recent success over Nottingham Forest, Harriers are starting to give many food for thought with the brand new season now less than a fortnight away.
Speaking after the game, Burr enthused about just how far his young squad have come since the start of July.
"It's very encouraging. From where we were three or four weeks ago to what I'm seeing now, I'm very pleased with how things are coming together," he said.

"The work-rate and the commitment of the players who are here is encouraging and not only that, but the level of football they're playing - we've come up against two decent sides and I thought the lads tonight did very well.
"The squad we've assembled has showed that they're well capable of competing."
The Aggborough chief saw front man Wright get his first goal in club colours this evening, adding:"It was nice to see Nick get off the mark tonight and there was a lot of good stuff out there.
"We set our stall out to work hard and that's what we'll do all season. We know we've got some tough places to go, no tougher than York in the first game of the season but they don't frighten us in any way shape or form and we'll be ready for that one.
"There are a lot of good, encouraging signs now from the squad."
