England C International Russell is currently one of the club's longest-serving players, and he's certainly gone from strength to strength since first arriving at Aggborough in the summer of 2005.
The former Scunthorpe Youth Teamer spent a spell on loan with Alvechurch before returning to Harriers and cementing a first-team place towards the end of the 2005/06 season.
Penn established himself as one of the best midfielders outside of the Football League during the following season and played a pivotal role in getting the club to Wembley Stadium and 2007's FA Carlsberg Trophy Final.
He broke into Paul Fairclough's England side last term, making his debut in Finland before going on to star in a victorious Four Nations Tournament campaign. Penn is contracted to the club until the end of the current season.
