Young, unhurried defender Tom Sharpe is in his second season at Aggborough Stadium after penning a new one-year deal this past summer.
A graduate of the Nottingham Forest youth system, Tom made great strides through the ranks at the City Ground and was part of their successful reserve side of 2008 - whilst still only being an apprentice.
Released by Forest in the summer of 2009, he was snapped up by former boss Mark Yates and made 16 first-team appearances last season. Having played for current boss Steve Burr whilst out on loan at Burr's former club Stalybridge, hopes are high that Sharpe's development can continue at a similar rate this term.
