MANAGER Mark Yates was unable to hide his disappointment following yesterday's 1-1 draw in the Nationwide Conference against Colin Lippiatt's St. Albans City side.

The game saw James Constable equalise after Leon Archer's opener only to be sent off alongside skipper Stuart Whitehead.

Yates recalled after the game: "Too many factors have influenced my players today. Our attitude wasn't right and the performance certainly wasn't right.

"Our supporters have come down today and credit to them, for standing in the wind and the rain because we didn't give them anything to go on.

"I'm bitterly disappointed with a number of things today; we've got to roll on. A bit of ill discipline could cost us dear but we have to re-group on Monday now."

On his three debutants, Yates added: "They can be all relatively pleased with their performances but the players who have been here all season needed to give them easier times and better service."
