Boss Rues Hot and Cold Harriers
BOSS Mark Yates was less than happy with the dip in performance shown at Weymouth's Wessex Stadium given the showing at Stevenage Borough in midweek.
The 1-1 stalemate on Saturday was a stark contrast to Harriers' 2-1 success at Broadhall Way and whilst Harriers started on top, the home side got back into things and that's what most disappointed Yates.
"It wasn't good enough to go from performing as well as we did at Stevenage to how we did today - it probably sums up our season really," he said, speaking after the game.
"Once we'd gone one up in this game we should have won it comfortably but we allowed them to come back into it - it wasn't good enough."
Such inconsistency, many including Yates would argue seems to sum up the season for the men from Aggborough.
He added: "The last two games have probably summed up our season. I thought it was a poor match and we're better than we're showed, we just didn't display it.
"I'm not going to criticise them but I do expect a lot better."
