MARK Yates pulled no punches after watching his team slump meekly to their tenth defeat in front of their home fans this season against Woking today.

By contrast, Harriers have lost just once in the league away from home since October of last year - clearly frustrating for the Aggborough chief.

"I expect to be beating teams like Woking and the first goal seems to affect us and regardless of whoever is here next season we need to be better than that," he said, after today's game.

"Ten home defeats isn't good enough and we have to be far better next season, especially here. If we'd scored the first goal today we'd have won the game comfortably - we need to start sticking chances away.

"It looks like the players have got their eyes firmly fixed on Wembley and I've told them they've got five games to impress me and put their case forward about playing.

"I'm scratching my head on the touchline - it's disappointing that we can't do it week in, week out - with the right additions we'll be up there challenging next season."
