MARK Yates was decidedly cool in his praise after his Kidderminster side secured safe passage through to the next round of the FA Cup sponsored by E.ON by thumping King's Lynn.
Matthew Barnes-Homer, Russell Penn, Martin Brittain, Brian Smikle and Justin Richards all found the back of the net as Harriers put on a master class in finishing.
And make no mistake - Harriers' boss Yates was delighted to see his side go through to the First Round proper, but speaking to the official website he did admit that things could have been made easier at the Walks.
He told harriers.co.uk: "It was a funny game, really. We settled the tie in the first-half with some clinical finishing and could have added a lot more than we did in the second half.
"We were really good going forward but we just conceded far too many half-chances, so we'll be back in on the training ground on Monday to work on that and make sure we get three points against Grays.
"We're delighted to be through to the next round, we did a good, professional job but we could've made it easier on ourselves."
Defender Luke Jones will now sit out a spell through suspension after he saw red in Norfolk for tangling with Michael Frew.
Yates admitted that his player had been unlucky with the original incident but offered no sympathies for the former Shrewsbury Town man on his reactions.
It will be a steep and potentially costly learning curve for the centre-back, with the door now open for someone else to come in and impress in his place - one contender being Martin Riley who featured in yesterday's game.
"The referee got the first decision wrong; it was a foul on Luke - it was right in front of us," continued Yates.
"But that doesn't excuse what he did - Jonah has apologised to me and the players and that's the end of the matter - he has to learn his lesson.
"We're trying to keep a lid on our discipline and we've had a good chat - he's disappointed in himself. I understand his frustration at the decision but you can't do what he did.
"As these things work, it will now give someone else a chance.
"I thought Martin Riley did excellently when he came on - he was composed on the ball and defended well.
"He impressed in pre-season and he's been desperate to get a chance and a game - if he gets that now it'll be up him to take it."
The First Round proper draw takes place in Soho Square this afternoon - and Yates is prepared to take the next opposition as it comes.
He added: "I don't really know - one of the big boys away from home would obviously be good financially, but even if you're at home to a lower-league side it guarantees absolutely nothing - so we'll see."
